SimplyGo Celebrates National Day with a Story of Hope, Art and Inclusion

Featuring artwork by 10-year-old Dyslexia Association of Singapore (DAS) student Anya alongside designs by the creator of “Jelilo”, Lester Lim (Lesdoublewood), SimplyGo’s National Day collaboration with DAS showcases three exclusive EZ-Link card designs and includes a $50,000 donation supporting children with learning differences.

SINGAPORE, 27 July 2026 – When 10-year-old Anya Ksena Low En Yang struggled with dyslexia, she found comfort and confidence through art. This National Day, her painting will travel across Singapore on limited-edition SimplyGo EZ-Link cards, carrying a message of awareness, hope and resilience to millions of commuters every day.

Created in partnership with DAS and local artist Lester Lim, creator of Jelilo, the special card collection celebrates different ways of learning and encourages greater understanding of dyslexia and other learning differences.

As part of the collaboration, SimplyGo will donate $50,000 to the DAS Bursary Fund to enable children with dyslexia and other learning differences from lower income families access specialised educational intervention.

A Journey from Challenge to Confidence

Growing up, Anya often found letters and words confusing. Through the support of DAS and her passion for painting, she gradually discovered confidence and a new way to express herself.

Her artwork, Guiding Lights, has been thoughtfully adapted by Lester into a limited-edition SimplyGo EZ-Link card while preserving the heart of her original creation.

Two additional exclusive Jelilo cards with the messages “I’m not broken, I’m built different” and “You see words, I see visuals” form part of the collection, inspired by Lester’s own experience growing up with dyslexia.

Turning Everyday Journeys into Everyday Conversations

“Millions of Singaporeans use a SimplyGo EZ-Link card every day. We wanted to transform something so familiar into an opportunity that raises awareness on inclusion and encourages empathy and understanding. Anya’s story reminds us that everyone has strengths. Together with DAS and Lester, we hope these designs inspire conversations about dyslexia and encourage Singaporeans to look beyond learning differences to recognise every individual’s potential,” said Mr Tan Kim Hong, Chief Executive Officer of SimplyGo.

“The right intervention can change the trajectory of a child's life, but for many families, cost remains a barrier. SimplyGo's generous contribution will help more children with dyslexia and other learning differences access the specialised support they need to build confidence, succeed in school, and break down barriers to social mobility. We also hope this collaboration encourages more Singaporeans to recognise that every child learns differently, and that with the right support, every child can thrive," said Mr Lee Siang, Chief Executive Officer of DAS.

Supporting Inclusion Beyond National Day

This collaboration reflects SimplyGo’s commitment to using its everyday touchpoints to create positive social impact.

Beyond raising awareness, SimplyGo’s $50,000 contribution to the DAS Bursary Fund will support up to 17 DAS students for a full year to access specialised intervention they need to thrive through various DAS programmes.

The commemorative cards will be available from 5 August 2026 while the limited-edition Guiding Lights collector’s card will be launched on 10 August 2026.
